Comet is one of the lucky ones — a former breeder who was just hours away from euthanasia before everything changed. Thanks to an incredible foster and dedicated volunteers, we were able to step in just in time and bring her to safety. At around 5 years old, Comet has already lived a life that asked far too much of her. Used for breeding and given little in return, she’s missed out on the love and comfort every dog deserves. But that chapter is officially closed — she’s now spayed, fully vetted, and finally ready to start living for herself. And despite everything she’s been through? She’s still so gentle, so kind, and dog-friendly. Comet is ready to learn what it means to be cherished, to have a soft bed, a full belly, and a family who will never let her down again.
