❤️💔 From starving… to safe. Now Lizzy just needs a home. Just over a month ago, Lizzy was one of the malnourished dogs found in Wichita, clearly a young dog who had spent her life simply trying to survive. She didn’t know when her next meal would come. She didn’t know kindness. She didn’t know what it meant to just be a dog. But everything changed when she entered foster care. With patience, love, and consistency from her incredible foster, Lizzy has slowly started to understand the things she never had before: 🥣 Meals come every day — she never has to fight for food again. 🏡 There’s a yard to go potty in, instead of the house. ❤️ Humans can be gentle, safe, and loving. Watching her learn how to trust and discover the world has been nothing short of amazing. The scared, hungry girl we first met has turned into a sweet, curious pup who just wants to be loved. Lizzy is now spayed, fully vetted, and ready for adoption. She’s almost one year old, still very young, and will need a family willing to continue helping her learn the things she missed early in life. The best part? She’s wonderful with children and other animals, and every day her personality shines a little brighter. Lizzy has survived the hardest part of her story. Now we just need to find the family that will give her the life she has always deserved.
