Gus

Augus came into our care at 6 months old with double cherry eyes. He was a breeder surrender and we thought it’d be a quick fix and he’d be on his way to a forever home. We quickly noticed he was fully incontinent and had a “special” walk at times. Unfortunately Gus is a genetic nightmare, but that’s kind of our thing so we are glad he didn’t end up in the wrong hands. Sweet Gus has Spina Bifida, Hip Dysplasia, is prone to ear infections, and basically all the bulldog struggles. He is fully incontinent and wears diapers indoors, but he is young and has a good system down. He’ll need regular bathing, wrinkle cleaning, diaper changes, ear cleaning, and a good diet with his supplements. Gus also needs to have extra precautions taken like avoiding stairs, and limited jumping. We are always 100% transparent about our dogs, as we don’t ever want to set them or you up for failure. He is a high maintenance dog, who needs a breed experienced adopter. If you can handle his needs, he is worth the extra work! He’s the sweetest and goofiest boy you’ll ever meet.
